QR Pharma to Present on Alzheimer's Disease at the NeuroScienceNetwork

Radnor, PA, April 29, 2010: QR Pharma, Inc., a developer of novel drugs to treat Alzheimer's disease (AD), announced today that Dr. Maria Maccecchini, CEO, will present an overview of neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease and discuss how QR Pharma's new technology and approach promises to prevent the onset as well as the progression of the disease. The company's lead compound inhibits a major pathway that is activated in Alzheimer's disease, but also in head trauma, stroke and other brain insults and leads to nerve cell death, cognitive impairment and dementia. This compound is presently in a clinical study in Alzheimer's patients and data will be available shortly.
